▪ PERSPEX

An extremely stable cast acrylic product, carrying a 10 year outdoor guarantee. Perspex is the most widely used material in the signage and display industries. It can be bent, routed, lacquered, lazered, shaped and screenprinted.
Perspex is available in a wide range of colours and flourescents in 3mm. Any custom colour is available in batch of 15 sheets. Visit the LUCTITE Website.

▪ POLYCARBONATE

A glazing material for commercial, industrial and domestic applications. Exceptional impact strength, 250 times that of equivalent glass, but with half the weight.  It can be bent, curved and even cold cut on site.  The material is self-extinguishing and is ideal for security glazing.

▪ SIMONA POLYPROPYLENE

Available in sheet and rod form. Impressive heat and chemical resistance, good wear properties, physiologically acceptable, thermoformable. Used in chemical, packaging, food & prosthetic industries. Visit the SIMONA website.

▪ SIMONA POLYETHYLENE

High chemical and corrosion resistance, excellent sliding properties, physiologically acceptable, very low water absorption, Black has high UV protection, anti-adhesive properties, universal applications. Visit the SIMONA website.

▪ DEHOPLAST POLYETHYLENE 500 AND 1000

dehoplast® PE-500 is a high-molecular-weight polyethylene (PE-HMW) featuring superb impact strength and abrasion resistance. Due to their outstanding processing capabilities and superior wear resistance, products made of this material are suited to a wide range of applications – from transport, materials handling and storage technology to food production.

Special importance is attached to ultra high molecular weight polyethylene dehoplast® PE 1000. The sheets feature extremely high wear resistance and abrasion resistance to metals and other materials. Thus, dehoplast® PE 1000 is ideal for machined components which are subject to high demands in terms of abrasion resistance and wear resistance. This is complemented by excellent mechanical properties. In addition, the range includes several highly cost-effective regrind products. Temperature range from -260°C to +80°C.

▪ ZELLAMID 202/250/1100 NYLON

Available in rods, sheets and tubes. An extremely tough material with good mechanical properties. Excellent shock and vibration resistance. Suitable for bearings, gears, vibration dampers, wear pads, scrapers due to its high impact strength.
Visit the ZELL METALL website.

▪ ZELLAMID 900 (ACETAL)

Acetal is well regarded for its heat resistance, high mechanical strength and anti-friction properties. It’s extremely low water absorption gives it excellent dimensional stability.  Acetal is suitable for springs, gears snap connectors, switches, pump components, submerged applications and many more.

▪ SIMONA PVC

Polyvinyl Chloride is used in container and chemical apparatus building. Its high dielectric strength and shore hardness make it suitable for moulds as well as the electrical and chemical industries. Easily weldable.  Visit the SIMONA website.

▪ SIMONA PVDF

Polyvinylidene Flouride is a thermoplastic construction material with all the typical characteristics of thermoplastics such as extrudability, weldability and thermoformability. It has an extraordinary chemical resistance and as such may be used over a wide temperature range.

PVDF offers many advantages over other flouroplastics, especially its easy processability, high mechanical characteristics, weather resistance and impressive radiation resistance.  It is particularly good for use in the container and apparatus industry. Visit the SIMONA website.

▪ SIMONA E-CTFE

Ethyl-chloro-triflouro-ethylene is a partially crystalline copolymer thermoplastic. E-CTFE is used mainly in chemical containment and equipment, where high corrosion resistance is a priority. Its main applications include the lining of steel tanks and composite construction in conjunction with GRP.

E-CTFE, as opposed to PVDF, has good chemical resistance in the alkaline range above a PH of 10. Qualities include high flexibility, high resistance against stress cracking, very low permeation rate and excellent weather resistance. Used mainly in container and apparatus building. Visit the SIMONA website.
